The NFL returns after two days off, and we have one great game on the agenda with the Packers and Panthers squaring off. Underdog is offering new users the promo code FOXNEWS to wager $10 and receive $50 in bonus bets.

Thursday Night Football features two three-loss teams taking each other on to start Week 8. Carolina comes into the game with a 3-3 record, and they are 2-1 on the road. The Packers come into the game at 4-3, but are 2-1 at home. How will the defenses stack up in this game?

The Panthers haven’t been very good against the run this season, but some of that is because they looked so atrocious against the Bears in the first week. The Packers have one of the worst running games in football, so they can probably avoid losing on the ground, but Jordan Love is dangerous through the air. The Panthers are sixth in the NFL against the pass.

The Packers are one of the best passing defenses in the game as well. They rank ninth in the league, allowing just 208 passing yards. On the ground, the Packers are 17th in the league, allowing 115 rushing yards to their opponent. Bryce Young is mostly a passing quarterback, and he has thrown for 12 touchdowns and 1,712 yards so far this season. They will need Chubba Hubbard to take some pressure off him. He is averaging about 4.5 yards per carry this year.

This could be a defensive battle, but which team will figure out their opponent first? The Panthers are susceptible on the ground, and the Packers are a bit worse against the run. Underdog is offering new users the promo code FOXNEWS to wager $10 and earn $50 in bonus bets.
