The event marks the 250th Anniversary of American Independence\, with the Oak Ridge Community Band performing at 7:30 p.m. and fireworks starting at dark (around 9:45 p.m.). \nKey Event Details\nTime: Music begins at 7:30 p.m.; Fireworks launch at approximately 9:45 p.m. \nLocation: A.K. Bissell Park; the fireworks will be launched from across the street at Oak Ridge High School. \nCost: Free to attend\, though donations are accepted to help cover the band’s equipment and expenses. \nEntertainment: The Oak Ridge Community Band will perform a program of patriotic music\, and local food trucks (Wushack Gyro King\, Irvey’s Ice Cream and Rolling Eggrolls) will be on-site. \nViewing & Parking Tips\nSeating: Bring lawn chairs or blankets.
